TCK+

What is TCK+?

TCK stands for Third Culture Kid: children who grow up in a different culture than that of their parents. They move between different worlds and often develop a broad perspective and intercultural sensitivity.

When TCKs become adults, that background doesn’t disappear. Young adults and adults remain shaped by their international upbringing.

TCK+ therefore refers to anyone who has grown up between cultures — children, young people, and adults — and who carries this experience through every life stage.

What I can offer

Growing up and living between cultures is rich and formative, but can also raise questions. Questions about identity, belonging, loss, loyalty, or new transitions in life and to new locations.

I offer support that matches your needs and the stage of life you’re in.

Counseling

Sometimes life between cultures requires longer-term support. Counseling then means: walking alongside. Offering a listening ear, encouragement, reflecting together, and giving advice where needed.

In a safe setting, there is space for what you’re experiencing — without rush and without judgment.

Advice for parents and caregivers

Parents, schools, and other caregivers of Third Culture Kids can also have questions. How do you support a child moving between worlds? What does a re-entry period require? How do you recognize hidden loss or identity questions?

I’m happy to think along and give advice on topics such as parenting, education, and supporting children and young people with an international background.

Coaching

Coaching is short-term and focused on one or two specific questions. For example, regarding studies, relationships, choices, identity, or a transition to a new environment.

Focused, practical, and helpful in gaining clarity and taking steps.
